Joey is available for placement. He is currently an outside dog and could be a good livestock guardian dog with proper introduction and guidance. Joey has not been inside and is not housetrained. He has had no experience with children, and is therefore available only to an adult home. He gets along well with other female dogs. He will make an excellent guard dog as he is very protective of our property, but there is nothing mean about him--he's just defensive. He is slow to warm up to our employees here, but he is sweet and loving once he trusts you. Joey was trained in obedience and knows "sit", "down", and to walk on leash. He would make an older couple a wonderful farm dog and protector. Joey has been neutered and is up to date on all vaccines and heartworm preventative.
